Photoshoot | La femme algéroise

I am really happy to show you guys the following photographs taken by Amina from @Minosphotographie (you can find her work on Instagram and Facebook). We've been talking with Amina for days and quickly found a common interest for Algerian culture, especially throught the outfits. Well, it is easy as she is half-Algerian and very attached to her origins just like I do! 

Je suis très contente de vous montrer les photos qui suivent. Elles ont été prises par Amina de @Minosphotographie (vous pouvez voir son travail sur Instagram et Facebook). Au fil des discussions, il s'est rapidement avéré que nous avions un intérêt commun pour la culture algérienne, en particulier pour les tenues. Bon, c'était facile : elle est à moitié algérienne et est très attachée à ses origines, tout comme moi !

For my first photoshoot in Oman, I was feeling a bit anxious but it finally worked well, especially because I liked her from the begining and it turned out this feeling was mutual. We even became friends eversince, which is another reason why the photoshoot is so special. So here I am wearing my own caftan (I forgot to take the belt with me, I can be so clumsy sometimes) handmade for my traditional wedding. I hope you like it and let me tell you it's not the last project with Amina!

Pour ma première séance photo à Oman, j'étais assez stressée mais ça a bien marché, en particulier parce que le feeling est bien passé entre nous. Nous sommes même devenues amies depuis, c'est aussi pourquoi cette séance photo est spéciale. Ici je porte mon propre caftan (j'avais oublié d'emporter la ceinture avec moi - hello la lose internationale) que j'avais fait faire pour mon mariage traditionnel. J'espère que ça vous plaît et je peux vous assurer que ce n'est pas notre dernier projet photo avec Amina !
